Natural disasters

• Natural events resulting from processes of the Earth, including earthquakes, tsunamies, avalanches, volcano erruptions, floods, drought, storms
• Many of them are connected to the environmental problems like global warming
• Can cause huge property damages, kill people

"Tsunami" is the Japanese word meaning tidal wave. A tidal wave is a large sea wave caused by a submarine earthquake or volcanic explosion. Usually tsunamis move entirely across an ocean to the shore. Have incredible energy because of the great volume of water. They bring waves of destruction capable of killing thousands of residents along the coast. Most tsunamis originate along the Ring of Fire. At the highest risk are Hawaii, Alaska.

A Volcano is a vent in the earth through which hot gases and molten rock rise to the surface. Named after Vulcan – the God of fire. The lava destroys many buildings and plants it encounters

An earthquake is a shaking of the ground caused by the sudden dislocation of material within the earth's outer layer, or crust. Can cause extensive damage.

Avalanche, a large mass of snow, ice, etc., detached from a mountain slope and sliding or falling suddenly downward.

Because of these disasters, charities are very important. They help helpless people, disabled, children and other vulnerable groups when they have poor health, or lost their home by som unexpected events and they don’t have any other solution.

People with great heart should help these people because someday maybe they will be the ones, that need help.

A lot of people have surplus of money and this is the best way how to spend them.
We can have a great feeling that we helped small children and they will be really gratuful.

On the other hand there are some people who abuse the role of charities, it’s very common, they pretend that they are making a donation for some ill children, bud they use the money themselves.
