Our surroundings provide us with many natural treasures which can be seen around the Earth. The way how we get to see these places is called travelling, which is basically getting from one point to another. Two main types of travelling are used daily. You can either use your own vehicle or rely on the public transport, which is used in over-populated cities.

In the past, travelling was not as easy as it is in the present. It was caused mostly by the regime, which did not let most of the people to cross the borders. This was done mainly because of political reasons. Nowadays this is not as usual as it was before, even though some countries are still bounded by similar prohibitions. Present society suffers from the lack of finances, which is an important setback if one wants to travel. This way, it is not easy to say, whether there has been any change, travelling is easier but still is not affordable for everyone.

The possibility of travelling has changed, and so has the way of travelling. Our predecessors used to travel on horses, horse carriages and naturally, on foot. After the industrial revolution, which resulted into the invention of steam and growing infrastructure, trains and steam cars became the most used types of transport. With the invention of cars, which could be afforded by only a minority of people, the infrastructure started to be modernized throughout the years.

As the number of cars on the roads was rising a number of problems occurred. The parking plots do not offer enough space for cars, traffic jams appeared only occasionally 15 years ago but now, they are part of our every day life. The problem is doubled by the green-house effect which is a question of all of us, the humanity as it is, is under consistent danger because of the combustion gas cars exhale into the air.

The most modern and the most effective way of travelling, is travelling by airplane. The invention of airplane was preceded by experiments, sometimes with deadly ending. But to this day, travelling by airplane is surprisingly considered to be the safest. It is also said that airplane accidents are caused by the failure of machinery. On the other hand, travelling in the air is not for everyone, both because of fear from heights and the cost of this type of travelling.

Last but not least, when you safely get to your finally destination. The most important thing is to make sure you are able to communicate with local people, if any problems occur. In these days, travelling is complicated as there are many documents which have to be filled in order to legally travel abroad. A simple mistake could mean staying home, instead of sunbathing.

Changing the climate you are used to can cause headache or other annoying physical problems, this can lead to serious difficulties. It is banned to take pills with you abroad when you travel publicly and the cost of treatment abroad can climb to horrific numbers.

At the end of the day, going to distant places or enjoying life abroad brings up a special irredeemable feeling to every one of us. It is only needed to be cautious, careful and responsible.
