Rozdiel medzi jednoduchým prítomným časom a prítomným priebehovým časom

Present Simple – Jednoduchý prítomný čas

Použitie: Vyjadruje činnosti, ktoré sa pravidelne opakujú.

• Príslovky:

  • every day, Mondays, usually, all the time

• Tvorba viet:

  • Kladná veta:
    I, you, we, they go / he, she, it goes
    Príklady:

    • I go to school every day. – Chodím do školy každý deň.
    • On Mondays she goes to dance class. – V pondelok chodí na tanečnú.
    • We read books all the time. – Vždy čítame knihy.

  • Zápor:
    I, you, we, they don’t go / he, she, it doesn’t go
    Príklady:

    • I don’t go to school every day. – Nechodím do školy každý deň.
    • On Mondays she doesn’t go to dance class. – V pondelok nechodí na tanečnú.

Present Continuous – Prítomný priebehový čas

Použitie: Vyjadruje činnosti, ktoré prebiehajú práve teraz.

  • at the moment, now, today

• Tvorba viet:

  • Kladná veta:
    I’m, he’s, she’s, it’s, we’re, you’re, they’re going
    Príklady:

    • I’m going to school at the moment. – Práve idem do školy.
    • She’s going to dance class now. – Teraz ide na tanečnú.
    • We’re reading books today. – Dnes čítame knihy.

  • Zápor:
    I’m not, he isn’t, she isn’t, it isn’t, we aren’t, you aren’t, they aren’t going
    Príklady:

    • I’m not going to school at the moment. – Práve nejdem do školy.
    • She isn’t going to dance class now. – Teraz nejde na tanečnú.
    • We aren’t reading books today. – Dnes nečítame knihy.

Hlavný rozdiel:

• Present Simple: Zdôrazňuje pravidelnosť.
• Present Continuous: Zdôrazňuje práve prebiehajúcu činnosť.
