Keď chceme spojiť dve vety spolu,aby poskytli viac informácií o ľudoch, zvieratách,
veciach, často na to využívame vzťažné vety.
He enjoyed the book. He read it last week.
He enjoyed the book THAT he read last
week.
Na pripájanie vzťažných viet používame vzťažné zámená THAT, WHO, WHICH.
a) Vzťažné zámeno
THAT,používame s ľuďmi,zvieratami a vecami.
He is the boy THAT I really like.
The shop THAT I work in closes on
Sundays.
The jumper THAT I am wearing today is very warm.
b) Vzťažné zámeno WHO používame s ľuďmi.
