Was Life in the Past Better or Worse than Today ?

When we compare life in the past and life in today its difficult because so many changes have occurred. I think it is a matter of opinion,because for example the oldest people says that in the past everything was better and age was not so hurried.Youngest people says that this age is so much better because we have modern technology like computers,I pod, and so on which makes our life easier.All of them have truth .Every age has own positives and negatives.

I think that from one perspective  life today is better because we have internet which saved a lot of our time.We  have more opportunities to educate ourselves or improve our skills. And we have mobile phones and virtual networks which means more ways to be in touch with our friends and family if we are abroad or far from them. Also there so many opportunities to entertain yourself by television or pc, mobiles,cinemas or maybe also cameras. In the past modern technology like this mentioned was expensive so people spend more time with listening radio,reading a book,playing cards games or walking in the nature but they spend more time together.
