The role of art in my life

Art brings beauty and joy into our lives. People, who making the works of art, need not for it only their patience, effort and ideas, but the great and natural talen. And what is the most important, they have to love what they do.

Art is something that has great value to many people. Art is everywhere. It lives in the soul, mind and even in the heart. Art is a important part of modern society. It is a way for people to express their anger and their emotions. Art is a way of life for people to express themselves.

The arts teach us how to communicate through creative expression. Music, singing, dancing, poetry are just a few of the different forms.

People listen to music every day, they dance, and sing. For many people art is a way of life, and without it they would be lost. Without art the world would be a sad place. Anyway, for every person in the world the art means something different.

As a general definition of art is: a creation of something that is ‘aesthetically pleasing’, something that people like and admire. But everybody wasn´t born with the ability to create art or to perform it. All around the world we know really a lot of kinds of art. 

The first is music. Music exists since we can remember. The first people imitated music from nature. When they began to talk they started to sing, too. Music became the art because it provides people a satisfaction and an enjoyment. Now we can listen music everywhere and all the time. We come into contact with music all our lives. When we were babies mothers song us lullabies songs. At school we have music lessons and we also can visit a special music school.

If you like opera, classical music, orchestral music, choirs and philharmonic you can visit theatres or concert halls. Young people who are fans of pop and rock prefer open-air concerts. But you can listen to radio or mp3 player, too. On the world exist a lot of kinds of music. We can divide it into two groups.

We know kinds of music like pop, rock, country, blues, reggae and classical music. Classical music is one of European treasures. Names like Beethoven, Mozart or Bach are well-known to everyone.

The second group is more popular nowadays. It is music where artist use more sounds than singing. It is called ‘techno’ and ‘house’. Music is mixed by computer or special equipments. So music art is an art consumed by the most people all over the world.

The second is literature. Literature is a part of art which includes novels, short stories, biographies, drama and poetry. Writers have a gift to put their ideas on paper. When a book is well-written, it is a joy to read it. We know books for a very long time. At the beginning, books were used like historical records. Later we began to use them for entertainment, learning or education. In my point of view, young people are not interested in reading books. They rather prefer modern technologies, such as internet, television and mobile phones, which are more interesting for the young generation. Many books have been created into films.

The third category is dramatic art. To make a film is an art too. Producers and directors are in some way artists too, because it is not easy to make something that is pleasant to watch. We can go to see the films in a theatre, cinema or at home on TV. So Theatre exists for many years and it became the first success of actors. Nowadays people prefer rather cinemas than theatre.

And the last group is fine art. I think fine art is everywhere around us. Everybody have some pictures or a small statue at home. Fine arts refer to painting and sculpture. So painters and sculptors try to explain their emotions and ideas only with a brush, colours, a canvas or a chisel and they know to make an unique artwork. When we see buildings such as castles, palaces we must admire the art of architecture and its beauty. Special place are museums and art galleries, which present pictures and statues or paintings, masterpieces etc. Names like Picasso, Rembrandt, Monet or Michelangelo are immortal. These people I think were genius because they made something that will be beautiful many next years.

But I am sure art is national heritage, so we should support it It is very important because without art world will not be exist!
