Young people are teenagers in age between 13 to 19 years. They live in their own world, they are not children, but not yet an adult people. They must fight with everyday problems in school, friendship, love, family.. Every young people has got own lifestyle.

Young people like to dress nicelyand sexy – they like to wear brand name clothing, like Nike, Puma and Kenvelo. They like being fit and attractive – girls want to be slim and boys want to look fit and strong, they often go to the fitness centres. Girls care about their make-up and hairstyle. Young people also like to have piercing and tattoos. Young people are usually tall and slim, but now in America for example a lot of teenegers have an obesity, because they eat fat meals in fast foods.

Young people like to be independent and respected - they know what they want from life and they like freedom. They don’t like criticism. They have their dreams and plans for future. They want their life to be interesting and exciting. On the other side, some young people are nowadays very rude, impolite and lazy. They don´t care about other people, they don´t help other people or home with houseworks.

They like their friends and they like spending time with them => love and friendship is very important for them. They like to go out with them, they go to pubs, cinema, discos, music festivals.. They like modern inventions for example mobil phone or computer. I think that they can´t imagine life without it. They spend a lot of time playing computer games or listening to music. Most young people like sport. Young girls for example like to buy new clother and make-up. It´s hobby for most of them. But there are also some teenegers which are quiet, they are learning all days, they don´t have a lot of friends.

Young people between 20 to 30 years old are different. Most of them have finished school and they found a job, some of them get married and have children and someone else go to university. Their problems are differnet from problems of teenagers. They are adults.

Education is compulsory from 6 to 16, then you can choose what do you want to do, if you want to continue in your studies or find a job. Nowadays, many children know, how important are their studies for their future life and they often go to universities and colleagues. Nowadays we have a huge amount of different kinds of universities specialized in many sections, we only have to choose.

Job opportunities are better than in the past, especially in big cities, there are many posiblities also for teenagers to take a part-time job and save some money. We have a lot of job centres where you can find a good job, we only have to want it.

Many young people today start their own families later in life than their parents did. They want to work on their career first and get married later. Young families are different nowadays. In modern families husbands help at home more or sometimes stay on a maternity leave if his wife earns more money.

Every teeneger need a friend. Friendship is important. But it can also have a dark side. Our friends affect us and sometimes it is bad and we do the bad things for example: drogs, alcohol, smoking, theft, criminality, battles..

The other problems of teenegers:

Suicide – as a result of loneliness, depression or other problems already mentioned here, victims can not solve their problems, which are so huge that they think the death is the only way how to get rid of their problems.

Bullying – takes place on every school, victim is usually physically or psychically blamed or teased by another much more stronger or older person in order to be just humiliated or for needs of insulting person /e. g. for money, for clothes, for hair, for skin colour, etc./

Bulimia – an eating disorder common among young women characterized by eating too much food and vomitting afterwards because of a guilt that they are too fat and ugly, it´s a psychical illness.

Anorexia – loss of apetite and inability to eat, it´s also a psychical illness.

Generation gab – it´s troubles, problems, misunderstanding between 2 generation (parents-child, parents-grandparents, child-grandparents), some conflicts and fights about way of clothing, about bad marks, friends, houseworks (teenegers are lazy) - children often leave a message at home, pack their things up and run away from home, they think that they are responsible enough to solve their problems alone but they are not. Important are conversation and compromises.
