My Favourite Book

These days, books are not as popular as they were in the past. There are far fewer libraries and we have not many possibilities to borrow them. However, books are still used by many people in the world.

To begin with, young people use the Internet to find the information they need and they can read a lot of books there too. In spite of this, many of them prefer reading classic books.

On the other hand, the older generation is more likely to go to the library or to a bookshop and they read books in a paper form not e-books from the computer. Although it is not modern, it is healthier for their eyes.

Another point is that many people like reading books despite the fact, that searching for information on the Internet is far easier and more practical.

In my opinion, reading books is better but I have not time to read them. The book has never been my best friend, maybe when I was a little girl. Now I am looking up all of the information on the Internet because it is a faster way.

Finally, I think that books will never be forgotten but they will not still have as important place as in the past and the Internet will be used by more and more people in the world.

To sum up, I believe that books will not be changed by the Internet and people who like reading them will still be there with their best friend – a book.
