Can a Book Still Be Your Best Friend?

Can a book still be my best friend? This is the question which is used more often nowadays than in the past. Is it because of this time or because of our way of thinking? Let´s look what we can find about it.

To begin with, in history there were not any other forms of searching for information than books. If they wanted to learn something or they were just fascinated by literature they simply had to buy or borrow a book.

Nowadays, people still discuss whether to use classic books or electronic forms of texts. In my opinion, children are more influenced by modern technologies these days so they use books less and less.

There are still some advantages of reading a book. It is a kind of an old fashioned way of reading and of course, there is some magical essence in it. I think this  is a good example of relax, just to sit and read what you want, and it is healthy reading.

For some people a book is just wasting of time, and on the other hand, it is true. These days are full of rush and everyone hurries to work or home so they haven´t got enough time. An easier way is to search for information on the Internet.

To sum up, maybe this is caused by the modern age. In schools books are substituted by computers and laptops so children do not need to read books. They also spend more and more time on the Internet and they can find almost everything there.

In my opinion book still can be your best friend if you want but if you hurry and do not have enough time it´s better to use the Internet.
