FAMILY

In my opinion family is one of the most important things that we have. Family is basic unit of society, at first we learn about life – what is right or what what isn’t. Later, family would be placed, where we can always return and where we can get advice or help.

In these days, family consists of parents and children. I think that in past grandparents often lived with family of their child.

But before children and before wedding you must have the second person for it, of course. In this modern time there are many possibilities how to meet partners – schools, discos and internet. And when you meet someone, it is important to find out if he or she is the right one.

And when you make mistake and you marry someone, who isn’t the right one and you have a lot of problems, divorce is solution.

In the Czech Republic are usually 1-3 children in one family. Both of parents have to go out to work, because they need money. The husband earns usually more than mother. In one family is mostly the same level education. The husband is taller and mostly older. The typical men’s jobs are lawyer, miner, pilot, driver, etc. Typical women’s jobs are secretary, cleaner, teacher, shop assistant or nurse.

Kinds of families:

Stepfamilies - Children can have stepmother of stepfather. It’s parent who isn’t our own. And parents can adopt child who isn’t their own – it’s stepchild.
Same sex parents – Same sex parents are people of the same sex, who live together. For example woman live with other woman. Man play a role of wife or woman play a role of husband.
Multiracial families – Members of family, who live together, have got different race.

MY FAMILY

Our family consists of four people. There’s my father whose name is Tomas Hrabovsky, my mother whose name is Dagmar Hrabovska and of course me.I haven´t got any brother or any sister. We live in flat on the edge of town. My father is forty-two old. He works as a policeman. He is tall and big, has got short brown hair. My father likes fitness and football playing.
My mother is thirty eight years old. She works as a nurse in a local hospital. She is small and slim and has got short black hair. My mother likes spinning, fitness, trampolins, badminton.

I have two grandmothers and two grandfathers. The ones live in Most and the others live in Liberec.

And what’s about me? My name is Nicol Hrabovska and I am eighteen years old. I attend gymnasium in Most. This year I will take a school-leaving examination. I have got fear, of course, because I hate learning. I am small, slim and I have got long brown hair. My hobbies are dancing, hockey, roller skating and swimming.

We haven´t got any pet. But in past I had dog by name Laura, but she died.

FRIENDS

In my opinion friends are the second most important thing in our life – after family. We meet new friends during all life – at first in nursery, next at school or at work. So we meet a lot of friends, but I think, that real friends are only a few them, real friends who are with you in every situation. A lot of friends go with you to enjoy themselves – to disco or pub.

MY FRIENDS

Probably my best friend is on of my schoolmates. Her name is Nicol too and we have known each other since we were 8 years old. She is very pretty; she is tall and slim and has got long brown hair. We are always talking or laughing about something. She has got a wonderful sense of humor. We are interested in many of the same hobbies – swimming or dancing. Nicol is always with me in every situation.

But I have got also boyfriend. His name is Martin. I love him some much. I spend every free time with him. I am very happy when I can be with him. He is so beautiful, lovely and funny.
