A Walk in the Woods

One, two, three, then four and five,
look how nice is world and life.
Here´s a burdock, there´s a fly,
snare your ears then watch and spy.
Knock, knock is a lovely sound,
woodpeckers must dig worms out
from the bark of one old beech –
there are many, they´ll eat each.

Water´s gurgling from the well,
where an alder, willow dwell.
Dragonflies are gliding there,
it is clean, they needn´t care.
Come here, bee, the mullein says,
take my force to help your health.

One, two, three, then four and five,
from the bole to mum´s arms fly!
